What is the point of that wheel as a spare if it isn't Unidirectional, or does that not matter that much?

The new carpet looks great! Why didn't you chip out the sound dampiner(The black tar) while you had the carpet out? Thats at least 30 lbs. Nice Strut braces. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I paid about $368 for the strut braces (directly from Neuspeed). You could probably find them cheaper elsewhere... Gotta give mad props to Neuspeed, though, best customer service that I've ever experienced! I also ordered a sway-bar and a lower rear tie-bar from them, but haven't had a good opportunity to install them yet, but when I do, I'll post pics.

BTW, I noticed a HUGE difference in handling after I added the strut braces. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I got the carpet from www.automotiveinteriors.com and I paid about $135 plus shipping. This is actually ACC Mat molded carpeting, but costs less than if you order it directly from ACC.

The spare is mostly for show, I'm in the process of building a fiberglass/MDF enclosure for it (and my subs/amps, etc). But if I did get a flat, I s'pose I could still use it to drive a few miles. It does add some extra weight to the car though...

I didn't remove all that sound damping cuz I didn't wanna hafta do it. Seems like that'd be a big ol' pain in the poop-chute.

Does anyone know what those connectors are for in the before picture of the carpet? The thicker ones that come out closer the the e-brake. I have em under my seats too, but I can't figure out what you'd use them for.
